The City of Marion is delighted to present the Nexus Arts Orchestra: a truly intercultural ensemble of musicians who came together through their connection to Nexus Arts, Adelaide’s leading intercultural contemporary arts organisation.

The group brings together outstanding global artists who now call Adelaide home, and will entrance audiences with a completely original line-up of artists and instruments. The performance will feature original works by members of the ensemble including First Nations singer and composer Vonda Last, Sufi singer and composer Farhan Shah, and guzheng virtuoso Zhao Liang, in a performance that is celebratory, revelatory, and uplifting.

Vonda Last – vocals, Farhan Shah – vocals, Jennifer Trijo – vocals, Noriko Tadano – shamisen, Zuhir Naji – oud, Lazaro Numa – trumpet, Alain Vãlodze – guitar, Maryam Rahmani – santur, Zhao Liang – guzheng, Bortier Okoe – percussion, Satomi Ohnishi – percussion, Abdul Nanou – violin, Robin Anthony – violin, Karen De Nardi – viola, and Jack Overall – cello.
