Known as the “Goddess of the Piano” and “High Priestess of Soul”, Nina mesmerized audiences with her unique approach to popular, gospel, folk, blues, jazz and classical music. Born in 1933 and first learning piano at 4 years of age, by the 1950’s she was performing in New York City jazz clubs. Blending these styles and her powerful delivery of lyrics, this exceptional woman left an indelible mark on the world which would challenge hearts and change minds. Experience a glimpse of her incredible life and repertoire with memorable songs including 'Please Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood', 'Sinnerman’, 'Four Women’, ‘Little Liza Jane’, ‘Feelin' Good' and ‘My Baby Just Cares for Me’ with SA’s Jazz in Cheek Quartet.
