Commemorating the centenary of Armistice 2018

Service to be held in the upgraded memorial gardens. Activities from 10 am to 12 midday include:

  • Unveiling of pavers marking dates of wars and peacekeeping missions
  • Unveiling of interpretive signs
  • Students from Westminster School to read aloud records of local servicemen and women who died in World War One
  • Performances by Marion City Band and Darlington Primary School Choir

The pavers and signs have been supported by a grant of $22,000 from the Department of Veterans' Affairs
