YMCA - Holiday Sports Clinics

When: Daily from 11 January to 21 January (excluding 15, 16 & 17 Jan)
Time: 2 hours sessions / various times
Where: YMCA - Marion Leisure & Fitness Centre, Cnr Oaklands Road & Rosedale Avenue, Morphettville
Ages: 5 to 13
Cost: $12 per session

YMCA are offering a jam-packed school holiday program with clinics available for basketball, soccer, and racquet sports like table tennis, badminton and even pickleball.

School for Spies Drama Workshop

When: 12 January
Time: 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
Where: Cove Civic Centre
Ages: 8 to 12
Cost: Free - bookings essential

An exciting workshop for all young spy wannabes. Learn the art of make-believe, mystery and laughter and hone your acting skills with Suzanne Matthew, a qualified drama teacher with over 30 years’ experience.

Creative play, problem-solving and collaborative skills help develop self-confidence in young kids.

Mindful Mandalas

When: 18 January
Time: Session 1: 10 am to 10.45 am OR Session 2: 10.45 am to 11.30 am
Where: Cove Civic Centre
Age: 6 and over
Cost: Free, bookings essential

Join the summer fun in this colourful mandala making activity. Sue Norman, artist is renowned for her Sandalas by the beach and she will guide and encourage children to create their own piece of art. All materials provided. Weather permitting this workshop is on the forecourt at the Cove Civic Centre.

Yoga Storytime

When: Wednesday 20 January or Thursday 21 January
Time: 10 am to 11 am
Where: Park Holme Library or Cultural Centre Library
Ages: 4 to 9
Cost: Free, bookings essential

Join in a Yoga Storytime session with stories, yoga poses, games, and some child-friendly mindfulness activities.

Ultimate Frisbee

When: Thursday 21 January
Time: 10 am to 12 pm
Where: Mitchell Park Oval
Age: 5 to 18
Cost: Free for City of Marion residents.

Come along these school holidays and learn how to play Ultimate Frisbee by an Australian representative of the sport.

Bring a hat, water bottle and sunscreen.

Family Movie Night - SCOOB

Cost: Adult $15.00 / Children (4-14 years) $12.00 / Family (2 Adults & 2 Children, OR 1 Adult & 3 Children) $49.00

You're invited to a Family Movie Night for the screening of SCOOB, with full access to Marion Outdoor Pool.

Children under 5 years of age MUST be accompanied in the water at all times by a swimming adult.
