The Nature of Marion

Jock Conlon (Biodiversity Coordinator) will introduce us to some special reserves in Marion that are full of native plants and birds. Learn how City of Marion is protecting our threatened plants, planting to cool our suburbs and working with our community to revegetate open space.

Bringing Back the Butterflies

A community project encouraging people to create garden plots that provide habitat for butterflies that are local to the area. Find out how to return butterflies to your yard and improve the beauty of your garden and neighbourhood.

Experiencing Marine Sanctuaries (EMS)

A program designed for community members of all abilities that are interested in experiencing and learning about SA's unique marine life. EMS run a series of guided community snorkel and virtual reality adventures for small groups and schools.

8:30 -9pm

EMS are offering an opportunity to go underwater while sitting in your chair. Pop on some Virtual Reality goggles and watch 15min of captivating footage of life under the ocean. A $3 donation for this experience is requested (pay cash on the night). This experience is optional.
