Join JDRF and the Marion Hotel for an unforgettable afternoon at the JDRF WinTer1Derful Luncheon, an event dedicated to supporting JDRF Australia in their mission to accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes (T1D).

Indulge in a delicious 3-course meal prepared by the Marion Hotel’s talented chefs, as you listen to inspiring sporting personalities touched by T1D. Listen as they share stories from their sporting pursuits and highlight how JDRF has impacted and improved the lives of those with T1D.

On August the 23rd JDRF will host approximately 120 guests, at the Marion Hotel.

Entertained and Mc’d by the lovely Gertie Sperling, Channel 7 reporter with guest speakers Erin Phillips and Alex Ballard, ALFW Port Power and type 1, it's going to be a wonderful afternoon to help raise funds for T1D.

Who is JDRF?

Funds raised will go to JDRF Australia who are the leading supporter of T1D research here in Australia and around the world. Eight Australians will be diagnosed with type 1 diabetes every day.

The condition can strike anyone at any time. A type 1 diabetes diagnosis means a lifetime of insulin injections or infusions to stay alive, plus regular painful finger pricks and careful blood glucose management.

When you support JDRF Australia, you’re helping to fund life-changing research, demanding action, and standing with the more than 130,000 Australians who currently live with type 1 diabetes.
