Minor reserve improvements

At the General Council meeting on Tuesday 26 June 2018, Council endorsed minor improvements for Dumbarton Avenue Reserve including landscaping, drink fountain with dog bowl and seating and fencing. The main issue of separation between the dog friendly area and the playground will be addressed with a new fence.

Construction will commence Thursday 20th June 2019 and there will be a period of closure during construction.

Playground

Dumbarton Reserve in Edwardstown is a local playground that was upgraded in 2010.

The playground features a multistation with two slides, bridges, small climbing wall, telescope and monkey bars. There's a also a digger and a rocky swale that kids will enjoy exploring. A standard swing and baby swing are available for those that like to aim high.

The reserve is fully fenced and also includes seating, a tap and a shelter.

Check out the great mosaic tiles in the footpath while you are visiting.

Public Art & Memorials

There are some wonderful mosaics lining the pathway at this reserve.
