Glade Crescent Reserve is a regional playground which was upgraded in 2013 with the wetland development upgrade and new shades sails added in 2017. This reserve is situated along the Coast to Vines Rail Trail.

There is a grassed terraced amphitheatre, additional car parking, security lighting, enhanced planting and open space.

Junior Playground

The junior playground features many elements to keep children entertained.

3 mound slides (2 tall, 1 small) are great for a group of friends to slide at the same time. A shade sail was added over the slides in 2017 and now provides protection from the sun for most of the day. At the bottom is a grassy kick about area with great views over the wetlands.

The rocky river with log bridges will challenge nature-adventurers. Future Paleontologists can lead their very own archeological excavation and discover the dinosaur fossils in the sand pit.

The bright red train will enthuse imaginative engineers. The more agile climbers can traverse the climbing blocks.

There are 2 basket swings and a baby swing for those who like to sway.

The senior playground at the southern end of the site features a long zip-line flying fox surrounded by a compacted gravel bike circuit with mini-jumps.

Facilities

This reserve has all the facilities for a long stay-and-play. Plenty of seating, shelters and picnic tables and a couple of BBQs.

A toilet is located on the Quailo Avenue side of the reserve.

Bike stands, a drinking fountain and lighting are also provided.

In 2017 the Glade Crescent Wetland was developed as part of our commitment to being a Water Sensitive City. Find out more on our website.
