Things to do
Grand Central Avenue Reserve is in Hallett Cove (adj Heron Way Reserve).
It has spectacular views of the ocean as the reserve slopes down towards the foreshore.
The eastern side of the reserve has an amphitheatre to accomodate large-scale events (e.g. Remembrance Day, Anzac Day). From the bottom of the reserve you can see the Southern Cross set on the tiers.
The western side of the reserve is a sloping grassy area - great for picnics with a view.
Stairs connect the top of this reserve with the foreshore and Heron Way Reserve below. Toilets are located adjacent to the Commemorative Space on the foreshore.
