Consultation occurred via Making Marion from 1 March to 22 March 2021. The outcomes are listed in the engagement report below.
Denham Avenue Reserve will be upgraded with two picnic benches, one seat, and minor landscaping. The garden bed inside the tennis court at McKellar Terrace Reserve will be replanted. Kellett Reserve Land is a biodiversity area and will be planted with native trees and shrubs to enhance the site. A pathway following the current informal trail through the reserve will be formalised. It has been proposed to investigate a 3v3 basketball court at these reserves. These minor works will commence before May 2021.
The sports ground features an AFL oval, cricket pitch and 3 cricket nets and clubrooms.
There is ample car parking around the reserve and at the eastern end of Denham Avenue.
Kellett Reserve Oval is home to the Morphettville Park Sporting Club (known as "The Roos") with teams for cricket, netball, football and eightball.
The clubrooms are available for hire for functions.
