Marion Oval in Marion has is home to the sports and community club, Club Marion.
Various sports are played on the site: soccer, cricket, AFL, American Football, basketball and tennis as well as a neighbourhood playground.
Eastern Field
The eastern field features a walking/running track around the perimeter of the oval. AFL, American Football and cricket is played on this field.
Western Field
The western field features cricket nets with retractable nets. Cricket and Soccer is played on this field. There is seating at various points around the reserve for spectators.
Marion Bowling Club has 4 bowling greens. They have numerous penants teams as well as social bowls and night owls. The clubhouse is able to seat 200 for meals, supported by a licensed bar, is available for private functions.
Marion Tennis Club is part of the Glenelg District Tennis Association and with players ranging from Junior to Senior. Summer and winter competitions are played. Lessons and private coaching is available. A small children's play area is located adjacent to the tennis club rooms. Access to the tennis courts is from Norfolk Street.
South Adelaide Basketball Club, known as The Panthers, run introductory and development programs as well as junior, youth league and senior district competition teams. Access to the stadium is from Norfolk Street.
Marion Oval has a neighbourhood level playground with a multistation with bumpy slide, climbing bars and swings. The playground is situated behind the cricket nets, between the eastern and western fields.
