Mitchell Park Oval Playground has been transformed into an exciting space for family and children. The new look neighbourhood playground opened in October 2019.

It includes timber climbing frames, a trampoline, slide, sand and water play area, a maze and steppers. There is a new picnic shelter with a barbecue, drinking fountain, walking paths, landscaping and irrigation.

The playground will complement the $15 million upgrade of the sports and community club. You can find out more about the Mitchell Park Sports and Community Centre redevelopment through our Major Projects page.
