Things to do
Rajah Street Resere in Oaklands Park is a neighbourhood playground that was upgraded in 2014.
It includes tennis and basketball court, a 40 meter running track, fitness equipment, soccer goals, climbing structure, spinner and slide, BBQ, picnic facilities and shelter.
The City of Marion with the Roger Rasheed Sports Foundation and the local community worked together to upgrade this reserve in 2014, to increase levels of sport and recreation participation in this area.
The reserve caters for all ages including toddlers, juniors, older children and youth, as well as parents and carers.
“I have seen first-hand the difference sport can make to children – to their lives now and in their future. And that is what this Foundation is all about – giving these kids access to a better life by giving them access to sport.”
- Roger Rasheed
