Things to do
Scarborough Terrace Reserve in Dover Gardens is a neighbourhood playground with picnic facilities, a toilet, fitness equipment and cricket facilities.
The playground is fully fenced and shade sails were installed December 2018 .
It's the perfect playground for the younger children as there is a multistation with ramp, two slides, swings and a springer.
This reserve features a large oval with cricket pitch and two cricket nets.
Around the perimeter of the oval is a rubber running track and 8 fitness stations (starting near the picnic facilities):
1) Warm Up Station
2) Rider Station
3) Sit Up / Vertical Push Up Station
4) Leg Press Station
5) Chin Up / Pull Up Station
6) Stepper Station
7) Push Pull Station
8) Step Station
This reserve has a toilet and picnic facilities so you can stay and exercise and play all day. Bring some lunch or dinner to cook on the BBQs and eat at the sheltered picnic tables. A drinking fountain is available, with dog bowl.
Bicycle stands are situated near the picnic area.
Disabled car parking is available on the Clacton Road side of the reserve.
