Warradale Park Reserve in Warradale is a neighbourhood playground that was upgraded in 2014 with shade sails added in June 2018.
It's a short walk (700m, 9min) from Westfield Marion if you are looking to take a break from shopping to reconnect to the outdoors.
Nature play elements are scattered throughout this playground with balancing logs and boulders to clamber or sit on.
The junior playground has a small multistation with stairs and a slide which is perfect for toddlers looking for adventure.
There is a standard and a baby swing adjacent to the multistation...or get 3 friends together to use the duck springer.
Older children will be challenged on the senior multistation with monkey bars and a rotating element.
Bring a ball and shoot some hoops on the 3 on 3 basketball court or the netball ring. Cricket fans can train to be the next Don Bradman with the cricket net.
There's a large grassy kick about area for ball sports or a picnic.
The reserve incorporates a meandering path and landscaping around the large trees which has enhanced the natural qualities of the site and accessibility. Bring a scooter or walk some laps while the kids play.
It's a great place for the family to visit with picnic facilities including a BBQ, seating, drinking fountain and dog.
Warradale Park Reserve is home to the Warradale Tennis Club. Find out more of their website.
