Willoughby Avenue Reserve in Glengowrie is a neighbourhood playground that was upgraded in 2010. It features two playgrounds, 3 on 3 basketball court and Marion's largest tree.
Senior Playground
The senior playground features a multistion packed with adventure - choose to ascend the balance bridge or the rock-climbing wall to the top, then choose to descend down the funnel net or the spiral slide. If you don't want to go up and down you can choose to go sideways along the monkey bars or curved bouldering wall.
A gyro spinner can spin you around or really test your climbing skills on the space net.
Junior Playground
The toddler playground features a multistation with two slides and a swingset.
Practice your basketball skills on the 3 on 3 court, under shady trees.
Featuring two sheltered picnic tables, a BBQ and bench seats this reserve is the perfect spot to take a break. A tap is available in the western side of the reserve.
Lighting along the paths connects the Sturt River Linear Park to the residential area.
There is some off-street parking at the Willoughby Avenue entrance.
Willoughby Avenue Reserve is home to the largest tree in the City of Marion. It's an impressively large fig tree with a wide and dense canopy.
