New play item at Yapinga Street Reserve

The City of Marion Open Space Plan 2020-28 identified a new play item for younger children at Yapinga Street Reserve. The budget allocated is $20,000 ex GST.

In consultation with the Plympton South Kindergarten a 1.2m high playhouse with climbing access has been selected. This item will be installed by mid 2022.

The existing large multistation and all other equipment and amenties will remain. This reserve was upgraded in 2012, and still has years of useful life remaining.

If you have any queries please contact the City of Marion’s Open Space and Recreation Planning Team on 8375 6600, Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.
