Venue hire

The Cove Civic Centre is a versatile facility containing a number of spaces for hire to both the business sector and the wider community. These include a main hall that can be divided into sections or left as an open space, and large and small meeting rooms.

Main Hall: Rooms 1 - 4

The Main Hall is a flexible space consisting of four individual sections that can be adapted to suit any occasion. Each section accommodates 38 guests and can be combined to form one large space accommodating up to 150 guests.

These rooms are available in various formats including boardroom, workshop and theatre layouts. Rooms 3 and 4 feature sprung floors for dance and other low impact activities. All rooms feature a range of audio visual equipment including ceiling mounted projectors and LCD screens.

Meeting Rooms: Rooms 5 - 8

There are four Meeting Rooms accommodating between four and six guests. These quiet rooms can be hired on an hourly basis and include a laptop with LCD screen and access to Cove Civic Centre’s high-speed Wi-Fi. The larger meeting rooms also provide access to a USB web camera and microphone.

An open kitchen is available for use by hirers of the main hall and the community. This includes access to the oven, microwave and coffee machine. Cleaning the area after use is the responsibility of the user.


Users of the centre can access the free parking along Ragamuffin Drive and in the car parking areas within the grounds of the Lutheran and Baptist churches during opening hours. Entry to these spaces is from Ragamuffin Drive.
