Summer Reading Challenge for Adults

If you would love to read more this summer, discover some new titles and authors, or show your children that reading is a habit for life, then commit to our Summer Reading Challenge for Adults!

This summer, we challenge you to read one novel a month from December – February.

To get started, pick up a copy of our nine book prompts from your local branch or download a copy from our website and start reading! You pick the format that suits you best – whether it be audiobook, eBook, or print.

To support you on your reading journey, we have prepared curated reading lists, unique events, and dedicated displays within each branch.

Still not sure which book to start with? No worries! Tell us a little bit more about what you like to read by filling out the survey at the bottom of this page and receive three personalized recommendations from our library staff.

Once you have finished a title, we would love for you to tell us about it! Leave a brief review in your local branch and go into our monthly prize draw.

Our reading challenge is open to all library members.
