Writer's Groups

When did the Marion Writers' Inc group form?

Marion Writers Inc was formed in 2007 after several local writers met during a writing workshop with Sue Fleming (course coordinator, professional writing, Adelaide Centre for the Arts) and convened by Renya Spratt (former programs and lifelong learning coordinator).

How do the meetings work?

Writers groups are self-managed and often include written and verbal constructive criticism given in the spirit of honesty and candidness to promote the development and enjoyment of creative writing, concepts and techniques.
