Due to the health restrictions announced recently swimming pools can have a maximum of 50 people per pool. Recreation sessions, Aqua Aerobics, Swimming Lessons, Lap Swimming and Birthday Parties are allowed. Bookings online prior to arrival required, do not attend more than 10 minutes prior to session.

Why do I have to book for the pool?
Safety measures have been introduced in line with COVID-19 State Government health guidelines.
These include:
Pre-booking to ensure the maximum number of people on site enables physical distancing and contact tracing records
Water safety for 2 - 4 year-olds. Please call 8375 6868 for details.
Private Lessons
Intensive half hour sessions to improve swimming skills for all ages. Please call 8375 6868 for details.
Teen Fitness
For students who have completed Swordfish in and want to develop further. Please call 8375 6868 for details.
Adult/Stroke Correction Classes
Tailored classes to improve swimming skills and technique. Please call 8375 6868 for details.
Why are sessions for a maximum of two hours?
Time limits apply to support physical distancing and to enable as many people as possible to enjoy the facility.
Sessions are for a maximum two hours – less about 10 minutes to enable staff to clean equipment and visitors to collect belongings or have a shower before leaving the site.
Will these regulations be in place all season?
We will continue to monitor COVID-19 health directions and review operations where possible to reflect any changes.
We want as many people as possible to enjoy the pool.
Can children under a certain age enter for free?
Entry fees only apply for children aged 4 and over.
Children 3 and under can enter for free with an adult.
Everyone, including children under 4 must be pre-booked for a session before entering.
Can kids under 4 use any facilities with an adult who is also booked in?
Only in the area where the accompanying parent/caregiver is booked into that session
The family pass is for four people – how do I book if there are more people in my family?
This can be made up of any variation of 4 attendees, e.g. 3 adults and 1 x child, 3 x children and 1 adult, 4 adults etc.
If you have additional family members you will need to purchase additional individual tickets.
Is there a discount for City of Marion residents?
Yes – City of Marion residents are eligible for a 25% discount for memberships, aqua aerobics, and inclusive recreational sessions.
What does a spectator pass allow me to do?
People can enter the site, watch sessions, and access the kiosk and toilets.
What are the pool member packages?
Membership packages provide more affordable bulk ticket purchases. Can include further discount for City of Marion residents.

Can we use the barbecues and drinking water fountains?
The barbecues and drinking water fountains are currently unavailable due to COVID-19 health directions.
Can I pay cash?
No – please bring a card to purchase for refreshments or items from the shop.
If I pay for a session but can’t attend, will I receive a refund?
As capacity is limited and we want as many people as possible to enjoy the pool it isn’t possible to provide refunds.
What sort of food is available from the kiosk?
The kiosk includes:
Sushi/cold rolls
Cheese toasties
Ham and cheese toasties
Wraps
Marinated chicken salad
Buddah bowl
Foccacia
Chips
Sweet and potato fries and avocado dip
Hot dog
Kickin’ ketchup hot dog
Steak sandwich
Chicken burger
Hot & cold drinks, ice creams
How far in advance can I book a session?
Up to five days prior.
This aims to reduce risk of cancellations if people have other unexpected commitments.
Can I bring in my own food and drinks?
Yes – you’re welcome to bring a picnic, including soft drinks.
The pool is an alcohol-free zone.
Birthday party packages include food and an ice cream cake is available for purchase (bringing own food to parties not permissible due to COVID-19 health regulations).
Can I book two or more sessions straight after each other for lap swimming?
Yes - two sessions can be booked back-to-back.
This will be for a maximum two hours on site.
Are there any days the pool is closed?
Our regular school swimming classes mean that on Wednesdays and Thursdays the pool is only available from 3pm. The last school booking is 5 November. At this stage, availability will subsequently be as per opening times.

Is there somewhere to park my car or bike?
Yes – the pool has its own car park, and parking is also available on side streets.
