Venue hire

The Mitchell Park Sports and Community Centre has a number of low-cost venue and room hire options available. There are several Neighbourhood Centre Rooms available for hire as well as stunning function rooms upstairs with bar and kitchen facilities and well as projectors and modern multimedia systems.

The indoor courts and main oval can also be hired when available.

Important Notice: The City of Marion are transitioning to new booking system.

Please be advised that the Mitchell Park Sports and Community Centre will not be accepting new inquiries for function room hire from May onwards. This temporary closure is part of our transition to a new and improved booking system aimed at enhancing your experience.

Starting from 1 May, all new inquiries for hire can be conveniently made through the online booking platform at spacetoco.com. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work towards providing you with a more streamlined and efficient booking process.

Mitchell Park Neighbourhood Centre Rooms

Function Rooms

The MPSCC has two upstairs function rooms which can be combined and used as one large function space. With stunning views over the main oval and access to bar and kitchen facilities (on request), the rooms are ideal for corporate functions, birthday parties, weddings, presentations and workshops.

Function room 1

Function Room 1 is located upstairs and is the main function room at the facility. The room features a large smart TV and projector, multimedia and audio system, access to the balcony overlooking the main oval, and access to bar as well as catering options. The room is ideal for large functions, workshops, parties and other celebrations.

Function room 2

Function Room 2 is located upstairs and connected to the main function room. This space features a large smart TV and projector, multimedia and audio system, access to the balcony overlooking the main oval, and access to bar as well as catering options. The room is ideal for large functions, workshops, parties and other celebrations.

Function room 1 and 2

Function rooms 1 and 2 can be used as one large function space. With stunning views of the main oval, this space include access to bar area, AV equipment, tables and chairs.

The MPSCC has modern sporting facilities which are available for hire outside of sports club use.

Indoor courts

The facility has two full sized indoor basketball courts which are also used for volleyball. These courts are ideal for most indoor sporting activities and are available for hire outside of club use.

Main oval

The main oval is a full sized Australian Rules football oval which is used for Australian Rules Football, Rugby and Cricket. The oval is available for hire outside of club use. Use of oval lighting can also be arranged as part of a booking.
