'Glandore' is set in parklands in the middle of an Adelaide metro suburb. The centre has rooms for hire, offers a range of social, educational and well-being programs and holds popular community events.
A community garden, 'little library', drop in community kitchen and a Saturday café are some of the facilities available. It has 6 buildings that all host different activities throughout the day, costs and times are listed in the current newsletter below or give us a call.

apART online is a collaborative Facebook group keeping your artistic talents flowing. Share ideas, images, inspiration, ask questions and gain advice. Join the neighbourhood centres tutors as they set you tasks, answer your questions and supply inspiration galore. Chat with other artists and share your work. The possibilities are endless.A wonderful way to keep in touch with others you may have already connected with at our centres. We look forward to seeing your works of art and receiving your comments.
Being apART Journals
Join your community with grateful journaling. If you are tech savvy join us online. On our Facebook page, join the BeingapARTJournal group and leave a comment for something you are grateful for. A positive thing to do for yourself, along with others. However if you rather the low tech option we can supply a journal to your door. A great way to keep you busy. Call your nearest City of Marion Neighbourhood Centre, supply your mailing address and we’ll get you started. You could even choose a blank book from home so you don’t miss a moment.
Want a virtual holiday? Well lace up your walking shoes, and grab some friends (at a distance).
All you need is:
> An email address (Only one per team)
> A team of 4 to share the journey with, give them a groovy name
> A pedometer, fitbit or phone app to count your steps. if you want a pedometer to let us know – we have a limited supply
Then you are ready for your walk around Australia! Watch the virtual sights go by as your team receives emails on the highlights and things to do at each town you pass.

Clark hall is good for functions and can accommodate up to 160 people, includes a catering sized kitchen.
Rugby room is good for children's parties, we offer a 3 hour hire session and can accommodate up to 50 people.
The City of Marion recognises that community gardens contribute to the wellbeing of communities and provide diverse health, social, environmental and cultural benefits. In particular:
The community centre is home to a community garden. It hosts workshops on various gardening topics and is open every Tuesday for working bees and a chat.
A woodfired pizza day is run in the garden on the first Tuesday of each month with bookings essential. Bring your toppings and we'll supply the dough, sauce and cheese for a small charge.
Adult Community Education (ACE) provides adults with a wide range of non-formal, accredited and non-accredited learning opportunities.

The library was made by the team from woodwork as a community project. A local family approached the centre with a suggestion to make a small book library where people can swap books to share with their community as an honour to their father who loved words.
Coast FM is a community radio station, operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year at Glandore.
Coast FM is involved in a number of community events, many held at the Community Centre itself.
