Australia Day Awards

2021 City of Marion Australia Day Awards

Nominations have opened for the 2021 City of Marion Australia Day Awards.

The awards will recognise Marion’s community achievers as part of Australia’s biggest annual celebration.
Mayor Hanna will present the awards at a special free community celebration event at Hendrie Street Reserve from 11am to 2pm on Tuesday, 26 January 2021.

Nominations are being sought in the categories of:

  • Citizen of the Year
  • Young Citizen of the Year
  • Community Event of the Year
  • Sports Person / Team of the Year

All nominees will be invited to attend and will all receive a certificate.

The nomination form is available below. Please download the form, print it out, fill out the required information and return it.

Nomination forms are also available from Council venues.

All nominations must be submitted by Friday, 11 December.
