Sustainable transport

Walking or riding a bike can improve your health, reduce travel costs and make our cities more liveable. Depending on where you need to go, public transport could save you time and money on parking.

As much as they are handy, motor vehicles are a major cause of air and stormwater pollution. If you do need to use it, make sure you drive it as efficiently as possible. When you’re in the market to buy a new car, do your research and consider how and where it’s made, as well as its fuel efficiency.

Electric Vehicles

Electric vehicles, or EVs, are vehicles powered by electricity instead of conventional fuel, offering a sustainable and efficient alternative with zero tailpipe emissions, contributing to a cleaner and greener transportation system.

Benefits of electric vehicles

Electric vehicles (EVs) have zero greenhouse gas emissions from the tailpipe, so their only emissions come from the electricity they are charged with. If charged with renewable energy, your electric vehicle will not produce greenhouse gas emissions.

EVs also reduce noise pollution, are cheaper to maintain and repair, and reduce air pollution, which provides many health benefits.
