Birthday parties are available for children turning ages 5 to 12. We accommodate for a minimum of 10 and maximum of 15 children.
Your dedicated party host will take your group through a rotation of party activities for 1 hour including pool games and the splash park.
Your party will then enjoy food and drinks in a shaded area, Balinese Style Hut* or Party Room*.
*Please note there is additional charge of $50 to reserve the Balinese Style Hut and Party room subject to availability.

Birthday party terms & conditions
A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required when booking to secure your space. Full payment is required to be paid on the Monday prior to the weekend of the party along with confirmed numbers.
The minimum cost is for 10 children. If less than 10 attend, you are still required to pay the minimum cost of 10 children and will receive food portions for 10 children.
If you had more than the minimum, but not all guests attend, you will not be refunded and you will receive the food for the confirmed number.
We can accommodate for up to 1 adult per child attending the party for no additional charge.
The minimum age of a party guest is 5 years.
If siblings are not attending the party as a guest, they can enter the pool after paying entry as a swimmer. They will not be able to participate in the party activities but can the pools with appropriate supervision.
Nothing is to be affixed to the walls, floors, fences or fixtures of the facility without the approval of Marion Outdoor Pool staff.
Following the conclusion of your party you will be asked to vacate the Balinese Style Hut or Party Room but will be permitted to stay for the duration of the day.
You will be expected to supply your own lighter or matches if using candles on your birthday cake.
Watch around water guidelines must be maintained at all times:
1 adult to 2 children aged 0-4 years
1 adult to 4 children aged 5-9 years
Pink: age 0-4 years, requires an adult within arm's reach in the water
Yellow: age 5-9 years, requires an adult to actively supervise them in the water
Pool games and splash park with a dedicated party host.
Food and beverage package containing chicken nuggets and chips, fruit, popcorn and a fruit drink.
An ice cream cake can be purchased for an additional $25.00.
Birthday parties are held on Saturday and Sunday at 10:30am,12:45pm and 3:15pm for a duration of 2 hours.
On the day of the party
When your party guests arrive reception staff will assist in directing you to your dedicated party area. Your dedicated party host will meet you at your party area shortly afterwards. If any guests are running late to the party, our staff will assist them when they arrive.
Why is the minimum age of the party 5 years old?
The minimum age of birthday parties is 5 years to adhere to our Watch Around Water and supervision guidelines.
Can I invite other children not involved in the birthday party?
Other guests can be invited during the duration of the birthday party. They will be required to pay the general entry pricing on arrival. Additional children will not be able to participate in the pool games and the food package will not be supplied.
What games do the party hosts organise?
It is dependent on the age of the children. Younger children may play treasure hunt, what's the time mister wolf, noodle races, stuck in the mud, relay games and general play with a mix of pool toys. Older children will be encouraged to play team-based activities like basketball, relay challenge games and others.
Do the children have the opportunity to have a play by themselves in the water?
The party host will issue children with yellow armbands in line with our Watch Around Water guidelines. They can spend some time in the splash park and in the learners pool before the hosted games begin. It is your responsibility to supervise them at this time. Please ensure you have a ratio of 1 adult to every 4 children aged 5 to 9 years old.
Can I bring my own food and drink in to the centre?
Food is supplied as part of the birthday party package. Additional food is allowed to be brought into the facility. You are welcome to bring in a cake, however we are unable to store the cake. Knives are NOT to be brought into the facility, and your party host will supply a knife for cutting.
Can I bring decorations and candles for the party?
We allow the use of candles during a birthday party, but you will be expected to supply your own lighter or matches. You may bring in decorations such as a table cloth or banner. Items need to be free standing and not attached to fixtures with adhesives. Balloons are allowed to be brought into the facility but please be mindful of environmental considerations. The area should be left in a clean, tidy and unaltered condition at the completion of your booking.
How long can we stay for after the party activities have finished?
You are welcome to continue your celebrations after the birthday party has concluded. If you have hired the Balinese Style Hut or Party Room we ask that you leave the hired space at the end of your 2 hour booking.
Do we have to pay for the parents attending the party?
We can accommodate up to 1 adult per child attending the party for no additional charge.
Some of our guests didn’t attend. What do I pay if less than the minimum children turn up?
There is no refund on your birthday party after full payment is received. You will received the food for the confirmed number of children.
