Join the Marion Little Libraries Scavenger Hunt

Together with City of Marion Libraries, we’ve created the Marion Little Libraries Scavenger Hunt!

Join us to explore the City of Marion and discover the many Little Free Libraries scattered everywhere - from parks to schools, community centres, and at the front of people’s homes.

These libraries are community-driven, relying on the generosity of locals to keep them stocked with a range of books for all ages. You can find anything from classic novels to children’s picture books - there’s always something new to discover.

What you need to do:

Pick up a scavenger hunt map and task list from your local library or download below:

Then, set off on your adventure to find the Little Free Libraries and complete the task list along the way.

The Little Libraries Scavenger Hunt is a great way to promote literacy and the love of reading while having fun with family and friends. It's also an opportunity to explore the local community and discover some hidden gems.

Once you've completed at least 5 tasks on the task list, return it to your local Marion library to receive a special prize by 31 July 2023.

So, what are you waiting for? Join us on the Little Libraries Scavenger Hunt and discover the joy of reading!

This is self-paced, so come make a fun day of it with family and friends.

P.S. If you have any books you'd like to donate, please take them with you to pop into a little library.
