Tree Tags

Urban trees provide enormous value to our lives - they are right where we live, breathe and play.

Tree Tags have been placed on selected trees in the City of Marion to highlight their environmental benefits.

Tree Tags include:

• height and age
• pollution removing capacity
• area of shade
• oxygen output for humans to breathe
• carbon dioxide removal from the atmosphere
• unique features e.g. nesting hollows, cultural features, etc
