Friends of the Upper Field River hold annual planting days

Upper Sturt planting day

The City of Marion and volunteers from the Friends of the Upper Field River are holding their annual planting days today (Thursday) and Saturday to help restore habitat for woodland birds and butterflies along the Field River.

Today’s planting started at 9am and planting will start at 9am on Saturday, 25 June.

No registration is required. Head to Barton Drive Reserve at Trott Park to become involved as a volunteer.

Please bring gloves if you have them, otherwise, all equipment supplied.
