The City of Marion is taking applications for its latest rounds of Community Grants and Youth Development Grants for 2022/23.

Applications opened last week and close on Monday 20 June with participants encouraged to visit the Council website for details, guidelines, and eligibility criteria.

The Youth Development Grants are open annually and support not-for-profit organisations in delivering projects and programs that strengthen connections for young people in our community.

Previous recipients include Sonder, YMCA Youth and Family Services, MarionLIFE and Headspace.

This program has a total funding pool of $120,000. Organisations may apply for a maximum amount of $10,000.

The City of Marion hosts two rounds of Community Grants every year, with $50,000 available each round to support local not-for-profit groups with projects and activities that benefit the Marion community.

Groups can apply for grants up to $5,000 and one grant per round up to $10,000 may be allocated.

Last round Council supported the Coast FM community radio station, Marino Community Garden, Foodbank, and many others.

Both grant programs aim to benefit the residents of Marion.
