Mayor's Message

I've returned from leave to lead Marion Council and serve your interests. I thank Deputy Mayor Janet Byram for taking the reins while I was away.

My immediate attention will be on delivering the 2018/19 budget in June. Over the last three years we have steadily reduced rate rises. I will be encouraging staff and Elected Members to keep the rate increase this year to no more than the rate of inflation.

You may have noticed we have a new website. It should make it easier to find what you want.

Finally, I have two printers (of my own) which I would like to donate to local charities or community groups. If your group could use one or both of them,  please telephone the Council on 8375 6600 and ask for Nakita.
