The City of Marion is about to trial one-way traffic movements along Coongie Avenue and Erudina Avenue in the Edwardstown business precinct.

The six-month trial is scheduled to being in late July and comes about after Council surveyed businesses and residents in the area about improving accessibility.

The survey was an initiative of Council’s Edwardstown Employment Precinct program - a $1 million, four-year project to revitalise the Edwardstown business district.

The survey revealed strong feedback from businesses and residents to introduce one-way movements of vehicles along Coongie Avenue and Erudina Avenue in order to provide parking spaces and make the area more accessible.

The City of Marion will consult with the local community before the trial’s end in January 2023 and will provide a report to Council.
