Services we offer
Immunisation is provided for babies and children, as specified on the National Immunisation Program and we provide vaccines to students in Year 8 and Year 10 as part of the School Immunisation Program.
Vaccines include Hepatitis B, Diphtheria, Tetanus and accellular pertussis (DTPa), Chicken Pox, Gardasil - Human Papilomavirus (HPV), Meningococcal C, Measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), Varicella (VZV) and Rotavirus.
Immunisation clinics are provided for children up to 7 years of age, school students and adolescents who have missed vaccinations at school (up to the age of 19).
The City of Marion has partnered with the City of Onkaparinga to provide immunisation services to our residents.
We also support immunisation services offered by local Medical Practitioners.

Council Immunisation Clinics are offered for children up to the age of 7 years, catch up clinics for eligible school students, and people up to the age of 19. Bookings are preferred however drop in appointments will still be accommodated.

The school immunisation program will also be provided by the City of Onkaparinga to the schools within Marion Council.

The dates for our visits to these schools have already been decided, however should clients wish to know what day our nurses are visiting, please contact the school directly for further information.
The City of Marion provides immunisation for people who are refugees or who are newly arrived to Australia.
Bookings are by referral from the Refugee Health Service only.
Clinics may be held monthly or on an appointment basis. Interpreters can be arranged for people accessing the clinics.
