Westall Way Reserve, Sheidow Park is a local level playground which will be transformed into nature play, a butterfly garden and native landscaping.
A concept plan was developed and community consultation on this design closed in October this year.
Resident feedback has been collated and, where possible, incorporated into the final design. Construction is scheduled to commence in early 2021.

As part of the Playground Framework, Council has reviewed the provision of playgrounds to ensure an equitable and sustainable provision of innovative, safe and high quality playgrounds.
The playground equipment at Westall Way Reserve is nearing the end of its life expectancy however, following community feedback, Council endorsed retaining the playground equipment.
The playground equipment will be regularly monitored for safety and compliance and updates on the condition will be brought to Council at part of the annual review of the 2019/20 playground works program.
